Lapis Trail is a lapis lazuli bracelet named for one of the oldest trade roads in the world.
For more than 6,000 years, lapis was mined in the mountains of Afghanistan and carried by caravan across the deserts to Egypt and Mesopotamia, where it was prized alongside gold. In crystal tradition it's the stone of truth and wisdom, a reminder to speak plainly and trust what you know.
The cord is hand-braided in our small workshop from three colors, camel, sand, and sky blue, with a gold-tone wrap on either side of the stone and tassels at both ends. The small cushion-shaped lapis is the deepest blue, scattered with golden flecks of pyrite like stars over a desert camp.
Size: Adjustable 5–8 in (sliding knot)
For the traveler, the reader, or the friend who always tells you the truth.

GOOD TO KNOW
What does lapis lazuli mean?
Lapis lazuli has been treasured since ancient times as a stone of wisdom and truth. Today many people wear it as a reminder to speak honestly and listen to their own intuition.
What are the gold flecks in lapis lazuli?
Those sparkles are pyrite, a natural mineral that forms inside the stone. They're one of the signs of genuine lapis, and no two stones have the same pattern.
Can lapis lazuli get wet?
It's best to keep it dry. Lapis is a fairly soft stone, and water, soap, and lotions can dull its surface over time, so take it off before washing up or swimming.
Will it fit my wrist?
The sliding knot adjusts from about 5 to 8 inches.
