One complete, fully assembled pair of wired earphones with the colorful wrap and smiley-face charms shown is included.
The Smiley Face Earphone Charm Wrap by NORELVA puts the most iconic symbol of Y2K fashion — the classic yellow smiley — at the end of a colorful braided cord. It's instantly recognizable, immediately expressive, and unmistakably of-the-moment in a trend that has been returning to cultural prominence for years. Your earphone cord, with a face on it.
From acid house to the early 2000s to the current Y2K revival, the smiley face has never fully gone away. On an earphone cord, it functions as a mood statement and a fashion reference simultaneously. Available in 3.5mm, Lightning, and USB-C.
The cable is hand-wrapped with 0.6 mm polyester thread under even tension, then secured with hand-tied knots at the finishing points to help reduce loosening and shifting during everyday use. Extra care is given around the earbud branches, Y-split, inline remote, and connector, where the cable bends and moves more frequently.
Keep the metal smiley charm away from hard impact, moisture, zippers, and rough fabrics, and do not lift or pull the earphones by the charm.
Each pair begins with one complete set of wired earphones. The cable is hand-wrapped with 0.6 mm polyester thread in a colorful Y2K wrapping layout, secured with hand-tied knots, while the metal smiley charm is positioned individually as the design is built.
Each pair takes approximately 5 to 6 hours of hands-on work, including color planning, wrapping, decorative placement, balancing, knotting, and finishing. The price reflects the complete earphones, the wrapping materials, the decorative details, and the time required to finish each pair by hand.

The classic yellow smiley — the original acid house / Y2K icon. It's the most recognizable version of the smiley face and the one that reads as most intentionally nostalgic.
Smiley face has been in consistent revival since the early 2020s Y2K trend and remains a staple of the aesthetic. It's one of those symbols that oscillates between vintage and current depending on styling.
Yes — the smiley face symbol has been adopted as a lighthearted symbol of positivity and self-expression beyond its Y2K roots. It works as a mood-forward accessory in that context.
